Helianthus Positive Behavior Supports LLC is looking for positive, energetic, compassionate and hard-working people to join our team! If you are eager to provide QUALITY ABA services to children with developmental disabilities and put your passion to action, you have come to the right place! We are currently expanding our team of BCBA and BCaBA professionals and have amazing full and part-time opportunities available. As an HPBS team member, you will be making a difference in the lives of our clients and their families on a daily basis
Job Responsibilities and Duties:
· Working directly with clients on your caseload providing quality individualized ABA services.
· Conduct evidence-based assessments to include insurance required assessments.
· Provide behavior analytic interpretations of results and data to treatment team members, caregivers and other significant persons.
· Design individualized behavior analytic interventions and methods to include Behavior Support Plans, Skill Acquisition Treatment plans, programming, progress notes, session notes, behavior protocols, and insurance documents.
· Teaching and training others to carry out ethical and effective behavior interventions.
· Supervise BCaBAs, RBTs and other treatment support staff in accordance with BACB guidelines and case necessity. BCBAs MUST also be supervised by a LP in accordance with NC state regulations.
· Providing consistent participation in implementing Behavior Support Plan, skill acquisition plan, programming and recommended strategies as written.
· Collect and review client data to assist in monitoring progress on a routine basis.
· Review supervised staff performance, provide effective feedback and report to Clinical Director on a routine basis.
· Communicate with team members any identified issues with any case related protocols, interventions or plans in order to find a resolution.
· Communicate with caregivers/guardians regarding daily session notes, progress and session concerns.
· Build a positive and trusting relationship with clients and their families.
· Provide evidence-based parent training for caregivers and other significant persons within the client’s life.
· Providing services within the home, school and community settings while traveling to these locations per client need.
Qualification and Skills:
· Master’s degree in psychology, applied behavior analysis, counseling, or a related field (BCBA). Doctoral degree in psychology, applied behavior analysis, counseling or a related field (BCBA-D)
· BACB certification and maintaining certification requirements in good active standing.
· 1 year of mental health, special education or ABA experience with children with developmental disabilities preferred.
· ABA knowledge of practices and methodologies.
· Effective communication skills.
· Hard-working, trustworthy, and passionate about your work and helping others.
· Resolves conflict easily and conducts oneself in a positive and professional manner.
· Open to growing professionally and continue education and development as an ABA professional and with a team-based environment.
· Works well with others, has great interpersonal skills and is collaborative with others to include team members and other professionals per client needs.
· Willingness to abide by HPBS company policy and procedures.
· Open availability and flexibility to working nights and weekends (if cases require to meet client needs)
· Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
· Willingness to travel to client homes, community and school environments within the community
